Venue: Tell us a little about your venue and why you chose it?
The Ceremony St Mary’s Chapel at Newtsead Abbey - gorgeous in everyway. I have been
going to Newstead Abbey since childhood and this seemed like the perfect place.
The Celebration The Little John Pub - a rustic theme and a venue large enough to accommodate all our guests, complete with cocktail and Gin bar. (Obvs)

Tell us about any special details and memories from your wedding day? Any surprises?
James surprised me on the morning of the wedding with a Tiffany
eternity ring.

Finding your dress – did you go for a style that you had
always lusted over or was your choice a complete surprise even to
yourself?
I'd always wanted a lace dress and fell in love with the Augusta Jones gown (with added extras of course!)

Bridal party style; Tell us who wore what in your bride tribe (& groom’s
gang for that matter!)
Bridesmaids Rebecca, Molly and Hollie wore Dessy tops and skirts in a
champagne colour while Maid of Honour Jess wore a slightly different Dessy dress.
Flower girls Natasha, Isabella, Matilda and Lucy wore dresses from John Lewis.
The girls wore flower crowns made by Sassie Bee’s florist in Farnsfield.
James and the groomsmen wore navy suits from Slaters Nottingham, and
champagne ties from Frances Day Bridal to match the bridesmaids.

Wedding Party Vibe: What inspired your wedding celebration? Did you
have a common theme running throughout the day?
We went for a rustic theme. The most important aspects for us were to have good food, good live music and great company!
